Once you have started your project there are many different ways you can share your project’s news, updates and successes
Dissemination is a term used by the European Commission in many of its documents and simply means to spread widely. All projects are encouraged to share (or disseminate) the successes of their project; this means that even after your project finishes, the successes can still have an impact in the future.
Why should I promote and disseminate my project?
The main aim is to spread the word and endorse the project’s results. It can help raise the profile of your organisation, create new opportunities to extend the project and develop partnerships for the future. You will also be asked to detail dissemination activities as part of reporting requirements, so it is a good thing to bear in mind at the start of, during, and after your project.
What can this include?
The kinds of things you could share include fresh approaches to tackle a problem, products such as e-learning tools and handbooks, best practice case studies, leaflets and much more. The Programme Guide has more details about the kinds of physical or tangible outputs such as these and wider experiences you may wish to share.
We would expect to see this promotion:
- on your website - download our emblem and upload it to your website with the promotional ideas above;
- on your social media - tag us @erasmusplusuk on Twitter when sharing information about your project and use our hashtags #epluspeople and #ErasmusPlusUK;
- in the media - share what you are doing with a larger audience, look at our Press Pack for more information.

How to use the Erasmus+ emblem
If you have been successful in applying for Erasmus+ funding, you will need to acknowledge the support of the European Union using the European emblem and appropriate wording. This applies to projects across all sectors and Key Actions. Examples are given in our presentation below which you can download from SlideShare.
For funded projects
Only projects directly approved for funding can use the emblem in their communication. Organisations which have not received funding from the Erasmus+ programme are not allowed to apply the emblem and wording on their communication.
The EU emblem for funded projects is available to download:
For promotion of the programme
Promoters of the Erasmus+ programme should preferably use only the name of the programme in their communication. If a visual representation is needed, the Erasmus+ logo can be used.
- European Commission Erasmus+ logo in colour
JPG file (136 KB) | PNG file (13 KB) | Zip file EPS (514 KB)
- European Commission Erasmus+ logo in black and white
JPG file (84 KB) | PNG file (13 KB) | Zip file EPS (163 KB)

A disclaimer must be added to the inner pages of any communications or publications relating to Erasmus+ funded projects to indicate that the material reflects only the author’s views and that the European Commission and UK National Agency are not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.
Erasmus+ Project Results Platform
The Erasmus+ Project Results Platform is the dissemination platform developed by the European Commission for Erasmus+. It provides a comprehensive overview of projects funded under the programme and highlights best practice.
The platform is a useful tool in disseminating the outcomes of your project and makes available any tangible resources, products, deliverables and outputs which have resulted from funded projects.
Watch our video below for a quick introduction to the platform.
Erasmus+ beneficiaries can:
- upload results, website information and add a logo to your project;
- edit personal contact data for the project co-ordinator and partners; and
- submit your uploaded content for review by the National Agency.
We would encourage you to upload your project results regardless of which Key Action your project is funded under to disseminate your successes. However please note for Key Action 2 projects it is compulsory to upload your project results as stated in your grant agreement.
The European Commission has produced a guidance document for beneficiaries (1.4 MB) on how to use the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
You can also watch videos on adding results to your project and submitting changes and how to modify your project card.
