The European Commission (EC) has a number of tools for Erasmus+ projects to assist with reporting requirements. They are useful to all sectors under the Erasmus+ programme, whether the grant is for a Mobility project, Strategic Partnership or Structured Dialogue project under the Key Actions which are decentralised and managed by the UK National Agency.
For an overview on EU Login, Mobility Tool, and the Projects Result Platform, you can watch the following recorded webinar (updated September 2023).
EU Login
The European Commission Authentication System (ECAS) changed its name to EU Login in 2016. An account is required before submitting your Erasmus+ application to access digital systems developed or used by the European Institutions. For example an account is needed to log in to Mobility Tool+. You can read more about EU Login in the European Commission's manual (3.13 MB).
If you already have an ECAS account, you don't have to do anything. Your credentials and personal data remain unchanged. If you need to create an account you can access EU login here.
Mobility Tool+
Mobility Tool+ is the EC's online management and reporting system. You can access Mobility Tool+ using this direct link. Report templates for your project can be accessed via Mobility Tool+, including interim reports which are submitted during your project’s lifecycle and final reports submitted after the project end date.
The exact requirements vary depending on the Key Action and will be stated in your grant agreement. Please refer to this and your project handbook or contact us if you are unsure about what you need to do.
It is important that the Mobility Tool+ is kept up to date throughout your project’s life cycle and that the information is accurate. For further information you can view the European Commission’s online Guide for Beneficiaries which can be accessed by logging into Mobility Tool+ using your EU login. This includes step-by-step instructions for using the tool as well helpful screenshots. For Key Action 2 projects, we have produced a quick start guide to using Mobility Tool+ (589 KB).
The EC has created a data dictionary (693 KB) for those who use the importing function of the Mobility Tool+.
Distance Calculator
The distance calculator is designed for organisations taking part in the Erasmus+ Programme to calculate travel distances for grant support to individuals.
Online linguistic support (OLS)
The OLS supports language learning for Erasmus+ mobility participants taking part in long-term mobility activities. In June 2022, the European Commission launched a new OLS platform, existing users will have received an email with a link to register and log in via EU Login. The previous OLS platform is no longer functional.
You can read the European Commission's Frequently Asked Questions on OLS which cover general support, logging in, technical queries and more.
Tutorials on how to use the platform can be accessed here.
Online Registration System (ORS)
The Organisation Registration System user manual (1.14 MB) explains how to obtain your organisation's PIC number, which you must have before you submit your application, and how to use the Organisation Registration System.
