2018 Call for Erasmus Charter for Higher Education applications

Institutions in the UK that do not currently hold the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) can now apply under the current Call for Proposals.

It is an eligibility requirement for universities and other organisations whose core work is in the field of higher education to hold the ECHE in order to participate in Erasmus+.

All types of HEI can apply for the ECHE, regardless of their academic disciplines and the levels of higher education on offer (up to and including doctorates). This includes post-secondary level vocational education institutions and those offering courses at foundation/HND level or above.

It is awarded by the European Commission for the remaining duration of the Erasmus+ programme. Therefore, institutions which already hold the ECHE do not need to re-apply.

Full details on how to apply are available on the EACEA website. The deadline for submissions is 11am (UK time) on 31 March 2017.
